My first reaction to riding this pow-surfer was “WOW, this thing is perfect!” I rode it in some really light and deep snow that most boards would not be able to keep me afloat in, this board had zero issue handling it. I can really feel the time and love that was put into this board from the moment I first stepped onto it, I feel like every inch and every groove of this board was intricately designed and thought out. The craftsmanship and attention to detail has always stood out to me in every grassroots board that I have ridden. Every factory created pow surf I ride now just makes me long for the feeling of a grassroots. The weight of this board couldn’t possibly be lighter, it’s as if every inch is there for a specific purpose, and no surface area has been wasted. Spending extra energy carrying around a big board with heavy bindings is completely unnecessary with this board in play, the control and feeling of effortless floatation has me frothing for my next adventure on this bad boy. The name “Magic Carpet” really is the perfect name for this board. It gives me the feeling of being weightless and free, seemingly controlling this board with nothing more than a thought. Its weight and shape really makes me feel like I am flying around on a magic carpet!

The physical dimensions of this board waste no space, the large nose keeps you on top of the snow no matter how light, while the tail is much skinnier, the taper really seems perfect. Its side-cut is very slight until you start getting closer to the back foot, where it gets pretty deep, allowing for nice quick turns, which allowed me to maneuver through various terrain effortlessly. The front foot has as much play as you could ever want on a pow surf, allowing you to really dance around on the front of the board with your front foot, while the back of the board is quite narrow, letting snow move quickly past it, helping you to keep your speed in the lower angled terrain. The tail of this board is also a thing of magic, having a pretty steep slant to it, which gave me a lot of leeway when I got bucked onto my back foot. The blunted shape of the tail also makes this board a little quicker, allowing for some fun and playful pow ollies when I really push into it.
The profile of this board is flat in the back under foot, which gives me great control, then it starts to turn to a more rockered out shape just past the back foot helping with floatation. There is also a dip near where I keep my front foot, adding some nice camber that allows for better control in the deep end. The profile of the nose takes out on a moderate but consistent slant upward which really cuts back on the amount I would normally submarine
on a pow surf. So there is a LOT going on in its profile, giving me responsiveness whenever and wherever I need it!
I would highly recommend this board to anyone just getting into pow surfing for the first time. This is also a great board to have in anyone's quiver that may want something they can ride in super deep light snow. Feel free to message me with any questions you may have regarding this snowboard and how you might attain one yourself.
